Things are heating up in the city (quite literally), making it the perfect time to hit the streets of Toronto and find a few celebrity faces to swoon over!

With plenty of movies and TV shows currently in production, you just never know when you might spot your favourite character off-set, roaming the streets of the 6ix.

Here are 20 celebrities to try and spot in Toronto this July.

Bill Skarsgård

Bill Skarsgård may be spotted in the city this July for his latest role in IT: Chapter Two in which he plays the lead role of Pennywise. Skarsgård is also known for starring in The Divergant Series: Allegiant, Atomic Blonde, and the Netflix original series Hemlock Grove.

Jessica Chastain

Also joining Skarsgård on the set of IT: Chapter Two is Jessica Chastain. Chastain has made a name for herself playing strong female roles in movies like The Help, Interstellar, The Martian, and Molly’s Game among others.

Olivia Munn

While it has not been officially confirmed, Olivia Munn may possibly be spotted in Toronto this July filming for her new role in Die in a Gunfight. Munn is best known for starring in TV series’ Beyond the Break and The Newsroom, as well as the feature film X-Men: Apocalypse. 

Helen Hunt

Possibly joining Munn in Toronto for Die in a Gunfight is actress Helen Hunt. You may remember her from movies like Twister, What Women Want, As Good as It Gets, and Cast Away.

Josh Hutcherson

Best known for playing Peeta in The Hunger Games films which won him a People’s Choice Award, Josh Hutcherson will also likely be in Toronto for Die in a Gunfight.

Ian Somerhalder

Best known for his portrayal of Damon on The Vampire Diaries, Ian Somerhalder will be in Toronto this July for his role in Netflix’s V-Wars. Somerhalder has also starred in television shows like Lost and Smallville, and is married to actress Nikki Reed.

Steve Carell

It is likely that Steve Carell may be in Toronto this July filming for The Dogs of Babel. Carell is best known for his quirky character Michael in The Office, and who could forget his hilarious roles in movies like The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Evan Almighty, and Get Smart.

Chace Crawford

Best known for his portrayal of Nate Archibald on The CW’s Gossip Girl series, Chace Crawford may be spotted in Toronto this June for his latest role in the superhero drama series The Boys.

Karl Urban

Also joining Crawford on the set of The Boys is New Zealand actor Karl Urban. You may remember him as Leonard McCoy in the Star Trek reboot film series, or as Éomer from The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Sonequa Martin-Green

Sonequa Martin-Green will be in Toronto this July filming for the second season of Star Trek: Discovery. Martin-Green is best known for her portrayal of Sasha Williams on The Walking Dead, along with reoccurring roles in The Good Wife and Once Upon A Time.

Doug Jones

Also joining Martin-Green on the set of Star Trek: Discovery is Doug Jones. Jones has starred in movies like Hellboy, Pan’s Labyrinth, and The Shape of Water.

Lauren Lee Smith

Canadian actress Lauren Lee Smith will be in Toronto this July filming for the second season of the Frankie Drake Mysteries in which she holds the lead role. Smith has starred in TV shows like CTV’s The Listener, and as Riley Adams in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Mary J. Blige

Mary J. Blige will likely be in Toronto through to mid-July for her role as Cha-Cha in the new series The Umbrella Academy. While Blige is best known for being a famous R&B/Hip-hop artist, she has also starred in a few movies like Rock of Ages, Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All By Myself, and Mudbound.

Ellen Page

Joining Blige on the set of The Umbrella Academy is Canadian actress Ellen Page. Page has starred in feature films like Juno, Whip It, and Inception, along with TV shows like Trailer Park Boys, Pit Pony, and ReGenesis.

Tom Hopper

Also joining these ladies on The Umbrella Academy set is Tom Hopper. Hopper has made appearances in television shows like Doctor Who, Casualty, and Games of Thrones.

Jason Priestley

Jason Priestley will be in Toronto through to August for season three of the series Private Eyes. Priestley is best known for playing Brandon Walsh on the hit show Beverly Hills, 90210.

Sarah Rafferty

Sarah Rafferty will likely be in Toronto through to November for her role in the eighth season of Suits. Rafferty has made small appearances in shows like Law & Order, Bones, and Numb3rs before going on to star in Suits as Donna Roberta Paulsen.

Gabriel Macht

Also joining Rafferty on the set of Suits is Gabriel Macht, who plays lead character Harvey Specter in the series.

Hannah John-Kamen

Hannah John-Kamen will be in the city through to September for season four and five of Killjoys. John-Kamen is probably best known for her role of Ornela in the sixth season of Game of Thrones. 

Katherine McNamara

Katherine McNamara may be spotted in Toronto this July shooting for the third season of Shadowhunters. McNamara is best known for her role on MTV’s Happyland, and most recently in Maze Runner: The Death Cure.
