Whether you’ve always wanted to work for the city, or perhaps you’re in the market for a new career path, Toronto is hosting its annual career information event this week.

This free event is an opportunity for the public to speak to staff representing more than 35 city divisions and agencies, and to receive information on the wide range of careers available.

Speaker sessions throughout the day will focus on how to learn about and apply for City of Toronto job opportunities.

Recently recognized as one of Canada’s top employers for 2018, the City of Toronto along with the Toronto Public Library are hosting the career event at the Reference Library on October 18 from 10 am to 3 pm.

There are currently temporary, permanent and full-time jobs available in divisions like Children’s Services, Information & Technology, Engineering & Construction Services, Parks, Forestry & Recreation, Transportation Services, and more.

Organizers are expecting approximately 1,500 people to attend this year’s event, so make sure to arrive early.
