The Toronto Blue Jays are embarking on their first trip to the ALDS since 2016.
And now, fans know what time they can catch each game throughout the series.
While the start times for Games 1 and 2 were revealed earlier this week, there was no announcement on what time the Jays would play Games 3-5 (if the latter two are necessary).
Yesterday, the schedule for the rest of the ALDS was released. Here’s what time you catch each game of the series.
In Toronto:
- Game 1: Saturday, Oct. 4 at 4:08 p.m. EDT/1:08 p.m. PDT
- Game 2: Sunday, Oct. 5 at 4:08 p.m. EDT/1:08 p.m. PDT
In New York:
- Game 3: Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 8:08 p.m. EDT/5:08 p.m. PDT
- Game 4: Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 7:08 p.m. EDT/4:08 p.m. PDT (if necessary)
Then, back to Toronto if a winner-take-all game is needed.
- Game 5: Friday, Oct. 10 at 8:08 p.m. EDT/5:08 p.m. PDT
Blue Jays fans won’t get the primetime spot this weekend, but the series will shift to later starts once New York begins to host the action.
While Jays fans would surely take a win in any fashion, a Friday night, winner-take-all, primetime game against the Yankees at the Rogers Centre would be spectacular theatre.
The Blue Jays haven’t hosted a penultimate playoff game since the ALDS against the Texas Rangers in 2015. Of course, that was the game that features Joey Bautista’s iconic bat flip.

We’ll see if the Jays have similar magic in store during their first-ever playoff meeting against the Yankees.
