As of Wednesday, Tim Hortons fans in the Greater Toronto Area won’t have to step outside to get their favourite cups of double doubles.
Just like Starbucks, Tim’s has partnered with a delivery service to offer its coffee lovers the gift of the chain at the comfort of home or the office.
According to SkipTheDishes, anyone craving Tim’s can hop on the SkipTheDishes app or website, and order items off of the full menu.
Tim Hortons said that they tested the partnership in different regions across Canada in the past year, and was a success.
“Whether it was a family ordering their favourite breakfast sandwiches and coffee, an office team ordering a group lunch, or someone working from home ordering a mid-afternoon coffee or baked good, guests were able to enjoy Tim Hortons with flexibility and ease,” said Mike Hancock, Chief Operating Officer, Tim Hortons.”Now we’re excited to offer that in the Greater Toronto Area as well.”
Back in 2018, Tim Hortons announced it would be testing delivery in various markets in Western Canada.
Today, delivery is now available at participating restaurants in Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, Ottawa, Greater Vancouver and Toronto with plans to expand to more locations.
