TELUS offers free smart security trials to Canada's small businesses

Whether you have a brick and mortar store that you’ve finally opened up, a restaurant that’s been around for decades, or a startup that’s your passion project, protecting your company’s assets from theft, break-ins, and crime is crucial.

To help protect businesses (and all the hard work their owners have put into them) during these uncertain times, ADT by TELUS is offering three months free security monitoring for its first 1,000 customers from now until Monday, June 1. As a bonus, there’s also zero commitment with free cancellation after the three-month period.

“We wanted to respond to the dilemma many small businesses are facing having to leave their premises and not having sufficient income or working capital to invest in security at this time,” says Jason Macdonnell, President of TELUS Security and Automation.

Macdonnell says that by providing financial assistance during these hard times, ADT by TELUS can “provide some much-needed peace of mind for small business owners.”

To help businesses that have closed or have reduced hours amidst the pandemic keep an eye on their stores, the ADT by TELUS package includes free security equipment, installation, and monitoring. Business owners can surveil high definition videos from their smart devices or computers.

Straight from their smartphone or computer, the system will give customers monitored intrusion alarms, smart locks, access control, and video surveillance. Specifically, users will receive one indoor camera, video analytics, a Qolsys IQ2 panel, three door sensors, and the choice of a Smart Lock, Smart Thermostat, or additional camera.

This customized automation means that as soon as a door is opened or a sensor is breached, you’ll be notified straight away with a live video, even when you’re off-site.

ADT by TELUS is also making sure it keeps everyone’s health top of mind, with hygiene being a priority. Following Canada Health guidelines, its team is taking extra precautions for the health, safety, and well-being of its customers. This means the installation team will leave sanitized equipment at your door and lead you through the installation remotely via virtual assist.

After the three free months of monitoring, you have the option to either renew or return the equipment, with zero commitment.

This isn’t the first time TELUS has provided support to the community in times of need. Since 2000, the company has donated $1.3 billion to 2 million youth annually. Since 2018, it has given $150 million to local charities and in 2018 its team members volunteered for 1 million hours to help retirees.

To be one of the 1,000 small businesses who can take advantage of this incredible deal and to protect the safety of your business, check out ADT by TELUS’s website or call 1-888-474-6307.
