Toronto police are looking for more witnesses, after a 14-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle in North York on Monday, leaving him with life-threatening injuries.
According to police, the teen was crossing Leslie Street from the east to the west side with a group of friends around 3:45 pm on Monday, March 18.
While the group of teens was crossing Leslie Street, the boy was struck by a northbound Jeep. The driver, a 52-year-old man, remained at the scene.
The boy sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.

Following the collision, the northbound lanes on Leslie Street and westbound lanes on Finch were closed with police investigated.
Police are asking local residents, business, and drivers, who may have security or dash-camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators at 416-808-1900.
