The City of Toronto has teamed up with its pro sports teams to encourage everyone to stay home and help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Aiming to inspire the city, Mayor John Tory along with members of the Maple Leafs, Raptors, Blue Jays, Toronto FC, and Argonauts helped put together a hype video — under the umbrella of “Team Toronto.”

“In a time when a lot of us are scared, it’s important to remember who we are,” Tory says in the video. “Now is the time for Toronto to come together, by staying home.”

The video includes messages from Raptors head coach Nick Nurse, Mitch Marner, and Hayley Wickenheiser from the Maple Leafs, Blue Jays second baseman Cavan Biggio, TFC captain Michael Bradley, and Argos legend Mike “Pinball” Clemons.
