Toronto loves a party.
And even more-so, Toronto loves a party for a good cause.
And this month, you have the opportunity to partake in sport and spirited fun, with the intention of supporting kids’ financial literacy.
No wonder there are so many young people stressing over how they’re going to repay their student debt.
- 3 must-see events at the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair next weekend
- You can take the train from Toronto to Niagara Falls for $35 return this summer
- Peace Collective is hosting a pop-up to support the Canadian Cancer Society
When Tav and Jag Malhotra learned about the current standards of financial literacy among young people, they created Tav Malhotra Invitational (TMI), an annual event in support of youth financial literacy.
The event consists of a golf tournament at Glenn Abbey in the morning, followed by a gala in the evening at The Globe and Mail Centre, one of Toronto’s top venues.
Attendees have the opportunity to join business leaders, celebrities, and notable guests to fundraise for a great cause.
This exclusive event is attended by Toronto’s elite, celebrities, athletes, and renowned artists. Last year, it raised funds to help 1,000 kids feel more confident in their personal finance skills.
This year, TMI is fundraising to #addanotherzero and help 10,000 kids learn how to be smart with their finances. And you have a chance to be a part of the process.
Tickets are 80% sold out, so don’t sleep on them.
You can grab yours here, and mark your calendar for this special day filled with fun and giving back.
