Taste of Regent Park dishing out pay-what-you-can dinners this summer

You can eat dinner outside with your neighbours this summer when Taste of Regent Park returns on July 4.
The weekly family-friendly event, presented by the Regent Park Community Food Centre, is offered every Wednesday until August 29 in the green space (AKA the “Big Park”) and promises an affordable produce market in addition to a pay-what-you-can community meal.
Cooked each week by different caterer enlisted through the community’s Culinary Training Program, expect to find hearty weekday meals cooked up in the woodfire bake oven along with fresh-baked snacks.

Rounding out the weekly feast, look forward to local vendors and organizational partners hawking food and clothing, while attendees can also enjoy arts and crafts, kids’ activities, music, dance, workshops, performances, and more.
