Canada's iconic chicken chain just started making dessert poutine
Just when you think KFC took the top spot for weird and wonderful creations (we’re talking about the Waffle Double Down), Swiss Chalet comes on stage and drops the mic.
We told you about the Canadian chain’s plans for a new look and menu back in December, and this dessert poutine is just one of many new items up for grabs at the national eatery.

These dessert fries are still made from hand-cut golden potatoes and topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce.
It kind of sounds like something a 5-year-old would want for breakfast, but that doesn’t exactly deter us from wanting to try it.
This bad boy is currently available at all Swiss Chalet locations for dine-in or take-out in Canada, where there are also new poutines in taco, rotisserie beef, and shawarma varieties for you to sink your teeth into as well.
Looks like good ‘ol Swiss Chalet has more to offer than their signature roasted chicken.
