A Toronto resident posted a video on social media capturing a car nearly hitting a woman on a sidewalk.
The video, posted on Tuesday, shows an Audi SUV driver nearly striking a woman and several others while driving over a sidewalk and bike lane.
The incident took place on Argyle Street and Ossington Avenue, according to Cristhian Camilo, who posted the video.
He said, “I was arriving home today and I found that my neighbour was almost hit by a car in front of my own house.”
Camilo also tried to step in front of the car to stop it from moving, but was scared of being hit by the vehicle.

Camilo posted a photo showing the licence plate of the vehicle and tagged the Toronto Police Service, Toronto Police Operations, MP Adam Vaughan, and various media outlets.
In the video, it appears the driver went up on the curb to get around a garbage truck.
Camilo said he filed a report on the incident, asking if there was “any way to follow up?”
Daily Hive contacted the Toronto police for comment and will update accordingly.
