The Toronto Police Service confirmed that gunshots were fired after an alleged dispute between a cyclist and three suspects in a vehicle in a Toronto neighbourhood on Sunday night.
Police first reported the incident on May 24 at 11:53 pm, saying that at Danforth Avenue and Greenwood Avenue multiple gunshots were heard in a laneway.
An update at 11:59 pm reported that there was an alleged altercation was between a cyclist and three suspects in a black Honda sedan.
The three suspects are described as “black males, all wearing masks, with a chrome pistol.”
The vehicle fled from the location.
According to the police, the cyclist was located and had “no injuries.”
There was evidence of gunfire as shell casting were located, police say.
