One person has been arrested following a fatal stabbing inside TTC’s Kennedy Station.
The station, as well as Line 3 and parts of Line 2, were shut down Saturday evening as a result.
The male victim was pronounced dead at hospital, and the case is now in the hands of homicide investigators.
Police were initially called to the station for a report of men fighting.
The stabbing happened inside the station and a person was taken into custody in the parking lot, according to Toronto Police Services.
Service on the subway system was impacted for several hours and shuttle buses were set up both ways between Warden and Scarborough Centre.

Routes 12, 20, 21, 34, 43, 57, 86, 113, 116, 131, 175, 905 are detouring to Warden Station due to a security incident.

As police investigate the tragic loss of life at Kennedy Stn, subway service is terminating at Warden Stn. Line 3 is suspended. Shuttle buses operating from Warden to McCowan Stns, stopping at all stations along the way.
