Bean to bar chocolate from Soul Chocolate Roasters is already available at numerous cafes and fine food shops around Toronto. Now, husband and wife team Katie and Kyle Wilson are gearing up to open their very own retail outlet.
Going in at Broadview and Gerrard and expected to open this fall, the space will be divided by a glass partition offering a glimpse from the compact store into a production area where cocoa beans will be refined into chocolate liqueur and then aged, tempered, and then poured into molds.
For sale, expect a range of single origin chocolate bars, bakers chocolate, seasonal sweets (like advent calendars), coffee, and chocolatey drinks.

The chocolate makers are also eyeing a larger production facility in Niagara-on-the-Lake, where they would join other well-reputed chocolatiers in Ontario including SOMA and Almonte’s Hummingbird chocolate maker.
