Yonge and Eglinton is about to get fluffy.
Fuwa Fuwa, which took The Annex by storm with soufflé pancakes in the spring, is about to open a second location further uptown.
To celebrate the grand opening, the spot will be offering free pancakes on December 7 and 8 from 12 pm to 2 pm.
This new location will have a completely new and exclusive chocolate-inspired menu. And it looks mouthwatering.
The Oreo Pancakes have us drooling. They’ll be made with luscious milk chocolate batter topped with velvety Oreo cream, and then finished with the classic cookie. For an extra touch of nostalgia, they’ll be served alongside a glass of milk.
The Matcha White Chocolate Pancakes mix of eastern and western flavours; served with white chocolate matcha sauce, and then topped with red bean paste and Japanese mochi.
Native to Osaka, Japan, these jiggly pancakes brought smiles to everyone’s faces, making them synonymous with happiness.
“When I was thinking of how to bring an even bigger smile to people’s faces, the first thing I thought of was chocolate,” says Benson Lau, the brand’s co-founder.
It seems that the spot’s already hitting its joy-spreading goal. Just look at these sweet creations! We know we’re smiling.
And we know where we’ll be on December 7… and 8, too.
