You can sip eggnog for charity at these Toronto bars this holiday season

This holiday season, you can raise your glass, and some funds, for an important initiative.

Four west-end bars are serving up variations of eggnog (including some vegan options) to guests from the 14 to 21 of December.

For each glass of nog sold, $1 will go to Socks 4 Souls. The money will be used to buy two pairs of socks for someone in need in Southwestern Ontario.

Socks 4 Souls Canada is a non-profit, volunteer organization committed to contributing warmth, comfort, dignity, mobility and health to homeless people by providing them with new, clean socks.

Bars participating in the eggnog event include Civil Liberties, Grey Tiger, The Gaslight, and Famous Last Words.

Those who wish to donate further can do so on the Socks 4 Souls website; be sure to include “Nog Your Socks Off” in the dedication section.

So drink up, knowing that these sips are making a difference.
