Earlier this week, we announced that Skittles is taking over an entire street in midtown Toronto for Halloween.
The sweet-sounding promo immediately conjured up visions of sidewalks paved in sour candies, scary (but delicious) rainbows, and a gauntlet of houses in full spooky force.
And while, it is a pretty sweet
installation marketing initiative. It’s also only six or so houses. Not the Avenue we were promised.
But hey, if trick-or-treaters get full sized packages of Skittles (we don’t know that they will), that could quickly make up for any lack of Skittles-paved roads.
So is the candyland worthy of your Halloween time? We’re not sure. But the only way you’ll find out it by going to taste the rainbow yourself.
Just don’t blame us if you find your Skittles experience to be more sour than sweet this time around.
