Man seriously injured after daytime shooting outside Scarborough Town Centre

A shooting outside the Scarborough Town Centre has left one man with serious injuries.

Around 2:20 pm on Friday, Toronto police reported that multiple gunshots had been heard near the Scarborough Town Centre.

A spokesperson for the Toronto Police Service confirmed to Daily Hive that there was one male victim, who was shot in the abdomen. His injuries are serious and he was rushed to hospital.

Reports say that that the suspects fled in a dark coloured SUV, but police were unable to provide any more details on the potential suspects.

Entrance #3  to the mall is currently closed while they investigate and a duty officer is onsite.
