Tahini's viral Shawarma Ramen is coming to all locations across Canada
After going viral online, the fan-favourite Shawarma Ramen at Tahini’s is finally rolling out at locations across Canada this June.
Tahini’s is one of Canada’s fastest-growing Mediterranean fusion brands, and it’s recently gone viral for its unique menu item: Shawarma Ramen. This dish has broken the internet, with these two globally loved comfort foods mixing together to make a completely new experience.
“Great menu innovation should make people curious from the very first moment,” says Omar Hamam, founder and CEO of Tahini’s. “Shawarma Ramen does exactly that. It takes two globally loved comfort foods and brings them together in a way that feels unexpected, craveable and unmistakably Tahini’s.”
If you aren’t familiar with the popular dish, it’s essentially what it sounds like: ramen and shawarma mixed together. The dish comes with a series of toppings, including sweet corn, crispy onions, mozzarella cheese, and Tahini’s signature spice blend.
There are also customizations as well, as guests can choose between chicken or halloumi, with both available in spicy and non-spicy options.

Starting Monday, June 1, 2026, all Tahini’s locations across Canada will be serving this multicultural flavour experience.
“The response to Shawarma Ramen has been incredible to watch,” said Veronica Castillo, vice president of marketing at Tahini’s, in a press release. “Guests are discovering it online, coming in with friends and family to try it for themselves, and sharing their reactions across social media. It’s become one of those rare menu launches that people genuinely want to talk about.”
“With the momentum we’re seeing, expanding Shawarma Ramen nationally was the obvious next step,” added Hamam. “This is more than a menu item. It’s a conversation starter.”
Shawarma Ramen will be available at all Tahini’s locations starting June 1. We’re definitely going to have to make a stop and try it ourselves.
