This mouth-watering Shawarma Festival returns to Toronto next month

Toronto is going to be flush with Middle Eastern eats this summer!

One of the city’s newest food festivals is offering a taste of “the 1001 flavours Middle Eastern culture has to offer,” and now, there’s also a singularly focused Shawarma Festival on as well!

Taking place this June, outdoors in the Canary District, this food festival returns for its second year celebrating spit-roasted meats and Middle Eastern inspired desserts.

The event runs from 11 am to 11 pm so Torontonians celebrating Ramadan can break the fast at the festival following Maghrib. And, donations will be accepted in support of the Muslim Welfare Centre.
