Canadian grocery and supply initiative launches to help those in need

It’s hard not to feel helpless in times like these, but every bit we can do to support those in need goes a long way. We can still make a difference.

A new online platform called Share the Goods is a matching service for people to buy groceries or supplies for those that can’t do it themselves.

Launched by two Vancouver locals, this platform pairs people who need a little help or want to help. From there, it coordinates how to get the essentials to people across the country.

Share the Goods told Daily Hive they have a “ton of volunteers lined up” on the service, and each volunteer has pledged a certain amount of money to go towards helping a family or individual in need.

Volunteers can order online for home delivery, order online and have those in need pick up in-store, or personally shop and deliver to them.

Whether you need help or want to help, check out the website for more details.
