The recalled products described below, which have been sold nationally, should not be consumed:

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products in Canada at this time. Still, you should check to see if you have the recalled products in your home. If you do, they should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.

If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, call your doctor.

Food contaminated with Cyclospora may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Those infected can experience a wide range of symptoms, including watery diarrhea, stomach cramps, and nausea.

Some people do not get sick at all, while others suffer from a severely upset stomach. Few people get seriously ill.

This recall was triggered by the company, Fresh Express, and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation which may lead to further recalls. If other high-risk products are recalled, the public will be notified through further warnings such as this one.
