Sakura-themed desserts are finally available for delivery in Toronto

It’s the most wonderful time of the year.

No, not Christmas. Scale it back. It’s cherry blossom season!

And as such, sakura-themed desserts are making their way onto the shelves of Toronto’s most delectable bakeries, and are finally available for enjoying at home.

Cheese Garden has launched its annual cherry blossom-themed release, with the spotlight on the sakura cheesecake. Topped with smooth custard and filled with Kanagawa Sakura jam, the cake itself is no-bake cheesecake layered over matcha sponge.

Going hand-in-hand with the cheesecake is also a sakura chocolate cheese tart.

Filled with a sakura and matcha cream cheese chocolate ganache duo, and paired with diced almond, pistachio, and dried cranberries, the treat is as nice to look at as it is to slice into.
