Ryan Reynolds offering gifts to Torontonians who donate medical supplies
Ryan Reynolds is calling for Torontonians to donate medical supplies to local hospitals, and he’s willing to bribe city dwellers to do it.
The Canadian actor shared a message tweeted by six-time Olympian and fellow northerner Hayley Wickenheiser, directly asking Toronto residents to donate PPE.
Wickenheiser wrote that she would, in-person and with proper social distancing, retrieve 1,350 N95 masks (68 boxes), 13,500 surgical masks (135 boxes), 13,500 gloves (135 boxes) and 1,350 chemo gowns from anyone who could offer them.
Following her request, Reynolds echoed the call, and threw in his own offer: “something awesome” from him, provided they could contribute to the donation.
Personalized videos, the signing of “whatever,” Deadpool Bobbleheads, and movie memorabilia are just some of the items the celeb has on offer for helpers.
Maybe you’re a sick son of a bitch and want me to sign some Green Lantern shit. Well guess what? I’ll sign that too, you sick son of a bitch. I’ll even raise your children as if they were my own – which trust me, you do NOT want. Any help will be rewarded generously.

Reynolds added that some sickos may prefer Green Lantern goodies. You want it? You got it. Provided you’ve also got medical equipment to donate, and you’re going to do so.

Reynolds closed up his request-meets-offer with a reminder that even if you don’t have PPE to donate, there are other ways to help frontline workers right now.
Perhaps doing something for a local hospital in your area, he suggests.
Or maybe you can do something for a local hospital in your own area. Personal protective gear (PPE) is essential. And healthcare workers simply don’t have it. These are the days. These are the helpers. Let’s help the helpers. And let’s get through this. 🇨🇦 Thank you!
