Figure skating icons Tessa Virtue, Scott Moir, and Patrick Chan announce Canadian tour

Apr 9 2019, 10:19 pm

Figure skating legends Tessa Virtue, Scott Moir, and Patrick Chan aren’t done skating just yet.

Earlier this morning, the trio shared details of their brand new Rock The Rink Tour.

The cross-Canada tour aims to blend their incredible skating talent with state-of-the-art lighting, video, and interactive technology, as well as live music.

“We want to give people a memorable experience and broaden the scope of what can be done in the show skating realm,” says Virtue.

“The goal for Rock The Rink is to be something that fans of skating and live entertainment will look forward to year after year,” adds Moir.

The tour will be held in over 30 cities across Canada, as well as select cities in the United States.

Virtue, Moir, and Chan will also be joined by a handful of world-class skaters.

Other cast members include Canadians Kaetlyn Osmond and Elvis Stojko, Olympic Medalist Carolina Kostner, US National Champion Jeremy Abbott, and Italian World Champions Anna Cappellini and Luca Lanotte.
