After five and half years in Riverside, Aft Kitchen & Bar is closing its doors.

The restaurant and bar, known for its menu featuring smoked chicken and ribs, burgers and brunch, announced on its website this week that the restaurant is slated to undergo renovations and will reopen as something new spotlighting “Aft’s cocktail guru Charlie Lamont’s vision.”

“It is time for me to pass the torch and now it is Charlie’s about f*cking time,” writes co-owner Paul Campbell. “It is my hope that you will support him as you have me over the years.”

Fans of Aft’s BBQ program can look forward to future pop-ups announced via Instagram. Meanwhile, sister establishment KT Bar remains open and is show sports and pouring beers per usual.
