Grab your sailor cap, dig those boat shoes out of the closet, and get ready to bring the fam to this summer’s Redpath Waterfront Festival.

Back this year over Canada Day weekend — June 29 to July 1 — the festival at Toronto’s Waterfront is bringing a plethora of activities that’ll have you tapping into your inner-sailor.

Take this opportunity to peruse a dozen Tall Ships – which only dock at the festival every three years – and enjoy live music and other entertainment on the water.

This weekend of excitement is the perfect excuse to spend some quality time in the sun.

And don’t forget to get your fix of seafood galore. Eats will include everything from lobster rolls, oysters and scallops to bacon pizza and fried calamari.

Plus, of course, you can cool off with a selection summertime drinks.
