The Really Really Free Market returns to Toronto this weekend

Oct 3 2019, 7:38 pm

As the season changes, October marks the return of the city’s Really Really Free Market.

Whether you’re looking to clear up some space in your closet or find some new one-of-a-kind treasures, the Really Really Free Market is the place to be on October 5.

Taking place at the Campbell Park Clubhouse from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, everything you see at the market is absolutely free. Seriously, no money is required, and there’s not even any swapping involved.

Remember, if you bring items to share, you must bring them before 3 pm, and ensure they are in clean and working condition.

Event coordinators also asked that those bringing items don’t bring anything big, like furniture, that would be too large or heavy for a person to carry home comfortably.

Due to the increasing popularity of the market, visitors can browse the free market for a maximum of one hour between 10 am and 3 pm. In that time, guests are allowed to fill one large shopping bag to the brim.

After that one hour has passed, market visitors are allowed to return at 3 pm and take as much as is wanted, as the one-shopping-bag limit is lifted between 3 pm and 4 pm.
