Raptors lose Marc Gasol for "weeks" with hamstring injury: report
The Toronto Raptors were delivered a pair of crushing blows in Detroit on Wednesday.
Though they won the game 112-99, they were down a pair of key players, as both Marc Gasol and Norman Powell were lost due to injury.
“It’s too bad,” Raptors head coach Nick Nurse told reporters. “A win with a heavy price, really, to be honest.”
Gasol suffered a hamstring injury, pulling up while running back on defence.

Powell’s status is still unclear, but it certainly doesn’t look good for him either. Suffering an apparent shoulder injury, Powell was seen with his arm in a sling after the game.
“It’s super concerning; he looked like he was in a lot of pain,” Nurse said.
The Raptors will continue on without both players for the foreseeable future, which will likely include their marquee Christmas Day game against the Celtics.
