Pizza and beer!

The delicious duo is the basis for this food festival taking place just north of Toronto this summer.

Vaughan Pizza Fest, happening mid-July, promises to be the biggest pizza party you’ve ever seen.

While a list of vendors has yet to be announced, if the 2017 edition is anything like last year, expect to see all your favourite local pizzaiolos all in one place for a weekend packed full of artisan pizza and craft beer.

In addition to all the eating you can expect to do, the festival will host a contest challenging cooks to createĀ a signature national pizza in honour of Canada 150 as well as a pizza makers’ market.

There will be family-friendly activities and live entertainment from headliners Men Without Hats too… not that anyone cares, I’m sure you were already sold at the first mention of pizza.

Vaughan Pizza Fest

When: July 14 to 16
Where: Woodbridge Fair Grounds, 100 Porter Avenue, Vaughan
Price: From $10
