Terminal in Pearson Airport reopened after 'suspicious package' found
Those flying out of Toronto’s Pearson Airport may notice delays today after a portion of the airport was closed while Peel Regional Police investigated a suspicious package.
According to police, parts of Terminal 3 were evacuated Thursday afternoon while authorities looked into the matter.

Toronto Pearson Airport said passenger processing in Terminal 3 for US-bound flights was stopped while authorities investigated.
Just before 2 pm, police said “the problem has been resolved” and there is no concern for public safety.

Passenger processing for US-bound flights has since resumed, according to the airport. However, affected passengers can expect some delays as normal operations resume.
