Ontario residents might want to fill up on gas today because this weekend, prices are expected to hike to the highest they’ve been in over a year.
On Thursday, Dan McTeague, the president of Canadians for Affordable Energy, said drivers would see a 1 cent hike per litre on Friday, which is just the precursor to Saturday.
Gas prices will climb again to another 2 cents per litre by Saturday, bringing the price to $128.9 cents per litre.
