Ontario announced 197 new coronavirus cases Sunday, continuing a trend of discovering fewer than 300 new cases per day this week.
Ontario’s total case count since the pandemic began now sits at 32,189. Most of those people have already recovered though, with 26,961 patients considered clear of their infections.
The province also reported 12 more deaths Sunday, bringing Ontario’s death toll to 2,519.

Four new outbreaks were reported at long term care homes Sunday. The total number of active outbreaks is now 67. So far, 238 long term care outbreaks are considered resolved.
