Continuing a trend of announcing fewer than three hundred new coronavirus cases per day this week, Ontario revealed 266 new cases Saturday.
This bring’s Ontario’s total case count since the pandemic began to 31,992. Most of those people have already recovered though, with 26,538 patients considered clear of their infections.
The province also reported nine more deaths Saturday, bringing Ontario’s death toll to 2,507.

There continue to be 63 long term care homes in Ontario dealing with active coronavirus outbreaks. This is down from the peak of Ontario’s epidemic. So far, 240 long term care outbreaks are considered resolved.
