
If you’re keen to experience a traditional Oktoberfest this year, you don’t need to travel far.
Because Ontario Place will be home to a true-to-its-roots Oktoberfest celebration in September.

Dig your lederhosen and dirndls out of the closet and don them at this event, taking place under a massive Bavarian-style Festhalle tent.
Food, beer, music, and a fun fair will all be running from September 26 to 28, modelled after the original Munich event.

The events will begin on Thursday night, featuring a tapping of the keg, a traditional oom pah band, and ending with some Bierhaus Beats.
In addition to plenty of beer, you can anticipate delicious schnitzel and Oktoberfest sausage, plus doughy pretzels. Make sure you bring your appetite.

Throughout the weekend, VIP ticket-holders will have access to a Private Bavarian Lodge. Perks of these passes include the best view of the stage, easy access to the dance floor, private washrooms (bless), an exclusive bar, early entry, and entry line bypass.
Celebrations will begin at 6 pm on Thursday and Friday night, and noon on Saturday.
