New Year’s Eve is fast approaching and for those that can’t wait to bid goodbye to 2016, now is the time make plans.

Toronto restaurants want to make your last meal of the year extra special. These restaurants are ready to take your reservations and are offering menus laced with truffles and foie gras, lots of bubbly beverages and blow out parties to ring in the new year.

Here’s a (still growing) list of Toronto restaurants where you’ll want to dine out on the last day of 2016.

Auberge du Pommier

Ring in 2017 with a luxe menu featuring selections like escargot tartlets, lobster and leek terrine, foie gras-rabbit rillette, roasted duck breast and saddle of venison with buttermilk for $150 per person.

Bar Reyna

The Yorkville restaurant is offering two seating on New Year’s. Book a table between 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm and enjoy dinner for $55, while seatings booked between 9 pm and 10 pm can dine for $85 per person including DJs and bubbly at midnight.

On the menu, signature dishes like spiced pumpkin labneh, fried olives and cataplana, along with foie gras brule and a winter vegetable tart.

Barsteiner’s

$75 per person for seatings before 6 pm, $86  per person for seatings after. Three courses include starters like bisque, crab salad, or duck three-ways, chicken supreme, black cod, or rack of lamb and favours at midnight.

Loud music, Latino street foods and an excellent array of cocktails await you at this newly opened four-floor party from chef Steve Gonzales.

Dine at this brewpub on NYE to enjoy a $50 prix fixe menu opening with appetizers like fried brie or bratwurst, mains like mushrooms pappardelle laced with truffle, braised short rib or branzino. Finish on a sweet note with a choice of maple glazed donut, choco-mint tart or sticky toffee pudding.

The O&B restaurant at Sherway Gardens is serving up a $65 prix fixe menu for NYE. On the menu, options like foie gras mousse, yellowfin tuna tataki, crispy duck breast, seared scallops, s’mores, phyllo-wrapped cheesecake and more.

Byblos

A la carte offerings will be available until 7:30 pm on New Year’s Eve, while later seatings can take advantage of multi-course menus including entirely vegetarian version. A three-course Middle Eastern feast can be had for $70 per person (wine +$50 pairings), while the four-course offering is priced at $85 (+$65 with wine pairings).

Who wouldn’t want to spend NYE in the lap of luxury being lavished by Chef Daniel Boulud’s team in Toronto? An early seating features a three-course prix fixe for $105, while a four-course menu is offered later for $165.
