No service on TTC's Line 2 causes commuter chaos on Thursday morning
Update: According to the TTC, regular service has now resumed on Line 2.
TTC crews are investigating after the power was shut down between Pape and St George on Line 2 on Thursday morning.
The Bloor-Danforth line was chaotic during rush hour, although shuttle buses were running.
According to the TTC’s Stuart Green, there is no ETA at the moment as to when the subway will be running again.
The TTC says that customers can utilize GO service at Main Street Station.
“If coming in to the core from the east, consider taking GO from Guildwood, Eglinton, Scarborough and Danforth,” said Green. “You can ride on a TTC fare during this disruption.”
