Toronto’s annual Night It Up! night market will be returning to the GTA this summer.

The massive food fest returns to Markham Civic Centre for three days kicking off on July 12, and will see more than 100 vendors on site serving up BBQ, bao, fried chicken, noodles, and so much more.

Admission is free for the outdoor event organized by the Power Unit Youth Organization, and proceeds from onsite will go towards this year’s beneficiary of choice, which is yet to be selected.

Now in its 18th year, the GTA’s longest-running night market will also showcase performances by local talent and an action-packed SportsZone by partner organization the Chinese Canadian Youth Athletic Association.

“This year Night It Up! will reflect a theme of celebrating inclusion and diversity in our community. With this in mind, we aim to bring new programmatic elements to an event inspired by a tradition dating back to the Tang Dynasty in China,” said Winnie Zhang, Night It Up! chairperson, in a press release.
