An in-city retreat launching next month aims to address wellness needs of stressed out Torontonians.
Neo Retreat, a newly launched half-day event in Yorkville, will feature five local wellness experts a morning to help clear the mind.
According to the event organizers, “with the never-ending fast-paced pressures of everyday Toronto life, mindfulness makes sense as the next big thing. It seems timely that a mindfulness festival type event is coming next month.”

A “retreat from the city in the city,” Neo Retreat will be taking place on March 9 at Mindset Brain Gym, and will offer programming that includes more than just mindfulness.
“While a mindfulness studio could include endless meditation, Neo curates a full wellness experience around rejuvenating activities and education, in addition to meditation,” said Neo Retreat Marketing Director Stev Baycetich.
“We live in a big hectic city where it’s hard to achieve a sense of balance. The goal of Neo is to help people recharge the body and nourish the mind so they can re-enter the city glowing with new tools to continue their wellness journey.”
Five wellness experts will explore a variety of activities such as “Wim Hof”; style breathwork with Wellness Coach Bryan Hardy, Biohacking Better Sleep with Biotechnology Scientist Oksana Andreiuk and Yoga-Pilates fusion with Yin Yoga and Pilates Instructor Tyler Jackson.
