The people behind My Roti Place just opened a downtown meatball hub

Toronto is about to enter a whole new ball game.

The folks behind popular Indian eatery My Roti Place have opened up a new spot, with a same-same but different name: My Meatball Place.

The new fast-casual King West spot offers Torontonians many meatball offerings inspired by world cuisines alongside mouthwatering internationally inspired sauces.

The concept of the space is choose-your-own-adventure.

First, guests can choose their base, a choice of bun with fries, rice, rigatoni, or a house salad, and pair it with any one of My Meatball Places’ signature meatballs and sauces. Meatball options include chicken, beef, seafood, veggie, cheesy potato, and superstar vegan.

From there, sauce options include: Mighty Marinara, Butter Masala, Aji and Beans, Coconut Thai and the legendary Hakka Chilli sauce. If you want to really turn up the heat, the Fire Alarm sauce is your best bet.

Alongside meatballs, the spot also serves up app options like Tequila Chicken Lollipops served with chipotle mayo for dipping, Elotes (grilled street corn), and Honey Garlic wings.

The restaurant’s main menu also boasts favourites such as Mozza Grilled Cheese with choice of meatball, Nonna’s Spaghetti and Meatballs, Chilli Con Carne, and classic Canadian poutine.

“At My Meatball Place, we have created a unique menu that encompasses global flavours and brought them to Toronto,” said My Meatball Place Co-Founder Dheeraj Tiwari in a press release.

“While Toronto is a culturally and ethnically diverse city with a sophisticated culinary palate, there are not many places where such a fusion of flavours exist. No matter what you are in the mood for our menu caters to different preferences and dietary requirements. Whether it’s a quick lunch or late night snack our menu has something for everyone.”

With menu items priced between $5.00-$13.00, the eatery is ideal for a quick grab and go lunch or a late night snack. Plus, they offer pick-up and delivery orders available through UberEats, Ritual, Doordash, Foodora and Skip The Dishes.
