There will be TTC subway closures this weekend.

According to the TTC, there will be no subway service on Line 1 between Lawrence and St. Clair stations on July 18 and 19. The closure is taking place to accommodate the Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit construction.

Shuttle buses will be operating during the closure. At Lawrence, Eglinton and Davisville stations customers can board buses on Yonge Street. At St. Clair Station, customers can board at the bus bay and disembark on St. Clair Avenue East, outside of the station.

Additionally, the 97 Yonge bus and the University side of Line 1 will be available during the closure.

Lawrence station is not yet an accessible station meaning customers who require an accessible connection and are travelling southbound on Line 1 should exit the train at the York Mills Station. TTC customer service employees will also be available for assistance.

All stations will remain open for fare sales and to provide access to surface routes.
