So much for spring weather? There’s a chance Toronto will be seeing some more winter activity as snow is expected on Friday.
According to Environment Canada, clouds will take over the skies on Friday with a 40% chance of rain showers before changing to a wet mix of flurries closer to the noon hours.
Temperatures are expected to drop to 7°C on Friday before dipping even more to 1°C in the evening.
Though there may not be enough snow for it to accumulate, there is still a chance flurries will reach the GTA, according to The Weather Network.
“We could even see a few centimetres of snow for parts of cottage country, with flurries and graupel possibly reaching all the way to the GTA late in the day,” said Dr. Doug Gillham, a meteorologist at TWN.
“It’ll be March-like weather for the final day of April on Friday.”
Just last week, Toronto woke up to a blanket of snow.

There won’t be that much snow Friday, but just a taste of the cold weather is enough to wish summer would just come sooner.
