A beloved Toronto music venue has closed forever amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Mod Club Theatre on College Street announced Friday that it’s ceasing operations, effective immediately.

“Serving you for the last two decades has been full of great memories and good times,” the club said in a statement.
“We hope we have been successful in adding to the community since we first opened our doors in 2002. Our goal was always striving to bring big smiles, positive vibrations, and memories that will last a lifetime.”
It ended by thanking patrons who have come to enjoy some of their favourite music artists at the Mod Club over the years.
