Mobile coronavirus testing heading to parts of GTA this week

Jun 10 2020, 2:18 pm

Peel Region has announced pop-up mobile testing centres for coronavirus that will be in the area this week.

They are being located in communities around the GTA to test those in high-risk workplaces and other outbreak settings.

“This allows Ontario Health, Region of Peel, Peel Regional Paramedic Services, and hospital partners to reach those who are at highest risk of infection and support existing work at assessment centres,” Peel Region said on their website.

These are the first two pop-up test centres that will be available this week:

Gore Meadows Community Centre
Date: Wednesday, June 10
Time: 10 am to 6 pm
Address: 10150 The Gore Road, Brampton

Malton Community Centre
Date: Friday, June 12
Time: 10 am to 6 pm
Address: 3540 Morning Star Drive, Mississauga

An OHIP card is not required for a test as it is a free service.
