Does the thought of trying to find parking in the Distillery District suck all the Christmas cheer right out of you? Perhaps the $6 admission fee or anticipated overcrowding make you feel a little Grinch-like?

Torontonians eager to kick-start the holidays are in luck. Just head west.

Mississauga is holding its own celebration and not only is it free to attend, it sounds like a really good time.

Taking place at Mississauga Celebration Square, Holiday Street Market runs from noon until 11 pm this Saturday, November 19 and is billing free rides on the giant carousel, a marshmallow fire pit, gingerbread decorating, NES Classic Edition game competitions, food trucks and more.
