Miss Vickie's chips recalled over pieces of glass in bags

Miss Vickie’s Canada has voluntarily recalled several of its potato chip products in several Canadian provinces after small pieces of glass were found at the bottom of some bags.

The recall applies to chip bags sold in Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada, Miss Vickie’s said in a news release.

The company says a “small number” of customers have reported concerns, including someone who suffered a “minor dental injury.”

The chip manufacturer is working with the Canada Food Inspection Agency to facilitate the recall.

Several flavours and bag sizes are being recalled, so anyone who’s purchased the chips recently should check the complete list of problem batches online.
