Forget cruising your neighbourhood for Christmas lights this holiday season.

The Journey to Enchantment brings more than one million twinkling lights to Markham when it opens next month.

From November 20 to January 4, the Angus Glen Golf Club will be transformed into a drive-thru Christmas festival, featuring a kilometre-and-a-half of dazzling displays, music shows, and a spectacular tunnel.

Just 45 minutes from downtown Toronto, the colourful lights and breathtaking installations are all enjoyed from the comfort (and warmth) of your own vehicle, making for the perfect physically distanced holiday outing.

If you need another reason to visit the “most magical event in the Greater Toronto Area,” proceeds will go to the Hospital for Sick Children and the Toronto Animal Shelter, so you can spread some holiday cheer while you take in the sights.

Journey into Enchantment
