
Update: According to Toronto police, one of the victims has died as a result of their injuries. The homicide unit has been called to the scene.
Toronto police are investigating multiple stabbings that reportedly occurred in North York on Monday afternoon.
Law enforcement said, just before 1 pm on Monday, they had responded to reports of a woman being stabbed inside a building near Dufferin Street and Wilson Avenue.
They said that there were also reports of a man being stabbed, and that he was “lying on the street.”
Around 1:15, police said a third person had been located suffering injuries, and that one of the three wounded is believed to be a suspect. A weapon has reportedly been located.
Two of the people are deemed to have life-threatening injuries.

All lanes are currently closed to traffic on Dufferin Street from Wilson Avenue to Billy Bishop Way while the investigation is ongoing.
