
A 32-year-old man is dead following a daylight shooting at a Mississauga plaza on Monday.
According to Peel police, the shooting occurred in the area of Dundas Street East and Cawthra Road just after 11 am.

First responders arrived and rushed the victim to a trauma centre, however, police say he succumbed to his injuries.
Following the shooting, a number of roads in the area had been shut down as police investigated the deadly shooting,
Two daycare centres were also placed in a hold and secure following the shooting, but those orders have since been lifted.
Police say a suspect was seen fleeing on Dundas Street East, but no immediate description was available.

Police say the homicide and missing persons bureau are now investigating the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact investigators.
