Man with gunshot wounds found dead near old Humber River Hospital
A man was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds near a hospital in North York early Monday morning.
Toronto Police Service say they received a call at 2:27 am and located a man suffering from gunshot wounds in the area of Woodward Avenue and Uphill Avenue, near the former Humber River Hospital at Church and Jane Streets.

The police say the man was “without vital signs” and the Toronto Medics later pronounced him dead at the scene.
The Toronto Police Homicide Squad has taken over the investigation.
